 MG 8876TrAbout Nami

Nami started her classical ballet training at the age of 5, studying with the nationally recognized ballet school, School of American Ballet. She worked with numerous choreographers and has performed throughout New York. She also has been featured in films, documentaries, and industrials internationally.

After graduating from New York University with a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology, Nami studied all styles of fitness, focusing on Pilates to manage her dancing injuries. She earned her certification in mat Pilates with LindaFit by Linda Farrell. In 2008, she was introduced to the barre-based fitness method in NYC where she was trained by former trainers of the Lotte Berk Method, the origin of the barre-based fitness method. With her Pilates and ballet background, Nami was instantly drawn and wanted to share the wonderful benefits of this fitness system. Since then, she has brought her experience and expertise in barre to Las Vegas and has been continuously improving and expanding the method to challenge and inspire her clients.

With Barre Definitions, Nami has updated the barre-based fitness method by making the movements and sequences safer for the body but just as effective. Her mission is to educate, motivate, and encourage her clients--not just to provide a challenging workout. Barre Definitions creates a fun and uplifting community atmosphere that embraces health, growth, confidence, self-worth, and self-definition.

"I took Nami's barre classes at The Bodyin New York City. She is extremely fun, nonjudgmental, and knowledgable, and I found myself having a great time in her classes! I'm not someone who has ever particularly enjoyed working out. Truth be told, I hated it, but Nami's class not only helped me get into great shape, it showed me how much I can enjoy fitness. I quickly started to shed weight, and I saw muscle definition I had never seen in my body before. The long, lean muscles were exactly what I wanted. After taking her classes, you will feel strong, healthy, and refreshed! With Nami, not only do you get a great workout, but a great friend!" -A.L. Los Angeles, CA
